In a highly technological country, one might think that traditions or religion would quickly fade away.
That is not the case at all \u2014 quite the opposite!
The island abounds with festivals, and the streets teem with processions. Lion dance in front of a temple, a deity’s pilgrimage on the backs of carriers, dragon dance in a narrow alley, religious trance, or walking on burning embers?
